MHFB Youth Band Camp
June 15 – 23, 2024

MHFB Youth Band Camp is a totally free week-long experience for high school students. You can choose to participate in any or all of the four program areas. The program is open to any LGBTQ+ or ally student who will be in high school in the upcoming school year as well as seniors that have just graduated! Seniors even have the opportunity to earn scholarships – with over $3,500 given out so far as a part of this program.
JAZZ BAND
Jazz Band participants will meet on Monday 6/17 and Tuesday 6/18, then join MHFB Swing at the A Midsummer Night’s Jazz performance at 7pm on June 18.
SYMPHONIC BAND
Symphonic Band participants will meet on Wednesday 6/19 and Thursday 6/20, then join MHFB Winds at the Melodies of Pride performance at 7pm on June 20.
STRING ORCHESTRA
NEW THIS YEAR!
String participants will meet on Wednesday 6/19 and Thursday 6/20, then join MHFB Winds at the Melodies of Pride performance at 7pm on June 20.
MARCHING & PEP BAND
Marching & Pep Band participants will meet on Saturday 6/15 and Friday 6/21, then join MHFB Corps at Denver Pride during our family area performance at 1pm on June 22 and in the Denver Pride Parade at 9:30am on June 23.

Camp Schedule
All participants will be emailed directly in early June with a copy of this final schedule and additional details for your participation.
All rehearsals and activities are at Historic Grant Avenue.
A Midsummer Night’s Jazz and Melodies of Pride performances are at the City Park Pavilion.
Pride Kid’s Concert is at the Pride Festival in Civic Center Park.
Pride Parade step off is from Cheeseman Park.
